The great leaders are like the best conductors they reach beyond the notes to find the magic within the players.
So here’s a thought what if everyone in this room was part of your own business what’s more what if this was your weekly strategic meeting?
What if this was your opportunity each week to meet and engage with the key players in your team?
“Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if he or she were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness, and understanding you can muster, and do so with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.” –Og Mandino, Inspirational Author
What would your week look like if Friday morning was the start of your week?
If Friday was your day to invigorate and energise your business?
I will let you in on a little secret – that is exactly how I approach Friday.
I wake up in the morning excited because I am going to get to see and engage with my businesses leadership team, each and every one of you.
In the spirit of Givers Gain…
…I look for ways to support, assist and engage everyone in this room on a level that allows me to get to know all of you on a personal as well as a business level. I hope to gain friends as well as business partners.
Friday is my strategic planning day and I listen to every Sales Manager Minute for cues not only to what kind of businesses each member is looking to engage but also for ways I can add value and support whether it sits within my direct business model or simply my field of experience.
I leave breakfast energised and excited and take 30 minutes to identify people in my network who would benefit from meeting or engaging with someone in the room next Friday and I invite them to breakfast.
I spend 2 hours creating my plan of attack for Monday onwards including the relationships I need to build on and start and the actions I am going to take to do that.
Then I close my book and spend the weekend recharging my batteries , enjoying my family and friends.
On Monday I am not stressed or disheartened looking at where to start and what’s ahead.
I simply open my book and start the actions I have outlined on Friday and count down the days until I get to meet you all again.

“The successful networkers I know, the ones receiving tons of referrals and feeling truly happy about themselves, continually put the other person’s needs ahead of their own. “
